A NOTE ON DOING ST. HELENA HISTORICAL RESEARCH

The St. Helena Historical Society (SHHS) Collections Committee is in the process of developing a program that will allow us to give researchers access to our collections while continuing to assure their preservation. In the meantime, we are not staffed in a way that allows for routine access to our resources which are housed primarily at the St. Helena Public Library.

Although housed at the Library, St. Helena Public Library staff  are not authorized to provide access to the Society's collections. If you have a research need or question, please contact SHHS research department manager Mariam Hansen or leave a message at 707-967-5502 and she will assist you.

You will also find a significant collection of books related to the history of St. Helena at the St. Helena Library. Their hours are available at: http://www.shpl.org/hours__location.htm

Please visit here for future news about our resources for historical research and related Volunteer Opportunities.
